May Real Estate Report for Naples, Florida
May sales continued at a brisk pace, as they have each month in 2011. In fact, my 5th Avenue office alone had its best month for written sales since June 2005... ($53.9 million!) We have seen a significant reduction in inventory, with many neighborhoods reaching a stable 10-month to 1-year supply. The diminishing supply is also reflected in the overall inventory in the Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero market, which has dropped 17% from its June 2010 level.
Only 1 in every 701 housing units sold in Collier County in May was a foreclosure. This was a decrease of almost 23% over the previous month and 78% compared with May 2010.
