Hodges University Lifelong Learning Program in Naples

Naples offers so many stimulating educational opportunities!  Each fall and winter Hodges University unveils, at a very affordable cost, a rich selection of courses for adults.  The wide-ranging curriculum includes "discussion groups, lectures, field trips and workshops in current events, the arts, literature, economics, the environment, health and wellness, philosophy and spirituality, creative writing and much more"

This year I have signed up for a class on the financial market and my daughter is looking at one on how to start writing a book.  The courses vary from one lecture or field trip to a series of 2-4 classes.  Just a few of the many exciting offerings are:

Discover Immokalee (the history and its people)
Landscape Greats (of the 17th and 18th centuries)
World Changing Events
How to be a Smart Traveler
Exploring Piano (important composers, how a piano is made, & a recital by a Russian pianist)
Microsoft Office
The Louvre
Canoe Adventure (to experience the ecosystem of an estuary)
The World's Religions
An Introduction to Astronomy
Exploring Opera
Interior Design
Human Trafficking (awareness & action)
Poetry Writing

The Naples area attracts a wealth of people who have unique professional backgrounds and are extremely generous in their desire to give back to the community.  This is evidenced in so many forums, one of which is The Center for Lifelong Learning at Hodges University.
